You are invited to attend A Heritage MEAL, which will take place April 3rd at The Farm Centre (420 University Avenue, Charlottetown). This event is free to the public and all ages are welcome to attend. Doors open at 6.30 pm!
A Heritage MEAL will celebrate the Island’s rich food and farming history and explore exciting ways Islanders are engaging in efforts to rejuvenate PEI’s local food system.
You can look forward to a sampling of delicious appetizer-style morsels prepared with locally grown/raised ingredients by amazing chefs, engaging presentations by a diverse group of speakers, plenty of time to mingle and the opportunity to learn as much as you want to know about growing, buying and cooking local foods!
This serving of A Heritage MEAL is made possible through the generous sponsorship of PEI 2014, as well as the boundless enthusiasm and giving nature of so many farmers, food producers, chefs, and volunteers.
RSVP here OR on the Facebook event page, so we know how many people to expect! Please note that RSVPing does not guarantee admittance. Admittance will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, so be there early to avoid disappointment! Doors open at 6.30 pm.
